Danielle graduated from Middle Georgia College in 1996 with an Associate of Science degree and then went on to the Medical College of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1998. She has been employed with Dr. Pournelle since 2004. She is married and has two sons. She enjoys outdoor activities such as running, kayaking, and camping with her family.

Mallory attended Georgia Southern University for two years upon graduating from high school. She then went to Southeastern Technical College where she graduated in 2013 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed with Dr. Pournelle since 2013. She is married, has one son, and enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and traveling.
Melissa Dickens, Office Manager
Melissa is the Office Manager and has been employed with Dr. Pournelle since 2001. She is married and has two boys. She enjoys spending time with family and horseback riding.
Whitney graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2005 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is married and has one son. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play sports, and traveling.
Chelsea graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2011. She has been a receptionist at Dr. Pournelle’s office since 2013. She is married, has one daughter, and enjoys spending time with family and painting.

Dr. John Pournelle attended the University of Georgia, majoring in biochemistry and qualifying to be a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society and the Gold Key National Honor Society. After completing the pre-dental requirements in three years, Dr. Pournelle applied for and received early admission to the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where he earned his DMD degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Pournelle returned to his hometown of Soperton, Georgia, and opened his general dentistry practice in July of 1981.
Dr. Pournelle prioritizes compassionate care and patient safety to help ensure his patients' smiles remain healthy and beautiful. He strives to keep the practice up-to-date with the latest dental technologies to minimize discomfort while maximizing results.
Dr. Pournelle is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Georgia Dental Association (GDA). He enjoys all activities with his family, playing golf, and is in his thirtieth year of broadcasting Treutlen High School Football.
